Sustainability is becoming increasingly important in the music industry. For one thing, climate awareness is growing among fans, artists, and event organizers. For another, tours and festivals have a high carbon footprint. We are doing our part. With our decarbonization roadmap, we have set ambitious goals for ourselves by 2030.

Our Path to reducing CO₂

-29%

LESS EMISSIONS THAN IN 2023

Two years after our first carbon footprint assessment, we were able to reduce our emissions by 29% compared to 2023. In our buildings, we rely on energy-saving technologies, smart control systems, and green electricity. At our own locations, we are expanding our photovoltaic capacity. We construct new buildings, such as our Berlin office, using sustainable hybrid timber construction (DGNB Platinum) and reduce our energy consumption through space optimization and new-work concepts.

We actively involve our employees and promote climate-friendly commuting options: bike leasing, bike-friendly infrastructure, and our recognition as a “Bike-Friendly Employer” strengthen the culture of cycling. At the same time, we are expanding the charging infrastructure for electric cars and e-bikes using our own PV electricity. A mobility app makes sustainable commuting visible.

ENERGY-EFFICIENT RENOVATION AT THE MUNICH LOCATION UNTIL 2028

In 2025, we began the energy-efficient renovation of our Munich office to significantly reduce energy consumption and and actively contribute to achieving climate targets.

By modernizing the building envelope, upgrading the technical infrastructure, installing sun protection systems and greening the facades, as well as reducing office space as part of our New Work concept, we will be able to continue reducing our greenhouse gas emissions in the future.
